There must hundreds upon hundreds blogs, that telltale the morbid reality in Greece since the recession started.I know that i will make any difference, but at least i will try too share my point of view.
To begin with i am a 27 years old advertiser.I work for the past 6 years.I would say i was a natural optimist but things have changed.I have changed and have become something that i certainly don't like.
This blog will probably be used under bleak times. I don't want a blog that speaks about unicorns and frolicking in green meadows. That's not my reality. Fair enough, i don't mop around all the time and i certainly do not cry all the time. But most of my days are spend with the following three thoughts in my mind
- Am i receiving my salary for this month?
- I am 27 years old and i ask pocket money from my parents.
- I wish things returned back to normal.( i know that this is a childish thought, but it definitely comforts me).
Most of Greeks actually, especially in my age, have the same thoughts.Recession has killed my generation, its dreams and its reality.Haters are the first that are going to say "Hell, you deserved it". Not my generation.You are talking to the wrong people.
